Wild24 is licensed in Great Britain, so it has to give you deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and reality checks, and it takes part in GAMSTOP. Set a limit before your first deposit, lower it whenever you like, and if gambling stops being fun, use self-exclusion rather than just closing the account.
Deposit Limits
A deposit limit caps how much you can put in over a day, a week or a month. You set it in the account settings at Wild24, and you can have more than one running at once, for example £20 a day and £100 a month.
The rule that makes limits work: lowering a limit takes effect straight away, raising one does not. UK-licensed casinos have to hold an increase for a cooling-off period before it applies, so a bad night cannot turn into a bigger limit on the spot. Wild24 also lists loss limits and session-time limits alongside deposits.
Reality checks sit alongside the limits. They pop up at an interval you choose, say every 30 minutes, and show how long you have been playing and what you have won or lost in that session. They are easy to click away, so pick an interval short enough to actually make you stop and look.
Not sure where to start? Work back from the money you can lose without it mattering. Put that into the planner below.
- Monthly deposit limit
- £100
- Weekly limit
- £23
- Daily limit
- £11
- Per session
- £11
A month has about 4.3 weeks, so the weekly figure is the monthly budget divided by 4.3, and the daily figure is one session's share. Round down, not up. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
Time-Out
A time-out is a short, fixed break. At a UK-licensed casino it can run from 24 hours up to six weeks. While it is on you cannot log in to play or deposit, and marketing stops.
Once you start a time-out, it cannot be cancelled early, and that is the point. It is useful after a heavy session, around payday, or when you just want a clean break without making a bigger decision. If you find yourself taking time-outs again and again, that is usually the sign to move on to self-exclusion.
How to Close Your Account
Closing an account is not the same as self-excluding, and it is worth knowing the difference before you choose.
- Withdraw any balance first. A closed account with money in it only adds a step later.
- Contact Wild24 through the help section and ask for the account to be closed. Say whether it is for gambling-related reasons.
- If gambling is the reason, ask for self-exclusion instead. A plain closure can usually be reversed after a while; self-exclusion cannot until it ends.
Why it matters
Closing one account does nothing for the other sites you could sign up to. If you want to stop gambling, self-exclusion plus GAMSTOP is the stronger option.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion blocks you from Wild24 for a set period, with six months as the minimum under UK rules. During that time you cannot reopen the account, you will not get marketing, and when the period ends the account does not switch back on by itself.
Wild24 is one of many sites run by Jumpman Gaming on the same platform, so ask support whether your exclusion covers its other brands. To block every UK-licensed online casino and betting site at once, register with GAMSTOP. It is free and lasts six months, one year or five years.
- Bank gambling blocks. Most UK banking apps let you block payments to gambling merchants. Turning the block off usually involves a wait of a couple of days, which is often exactly the pause you need.
- Blocking software. Apps such as Gamban block gambling sites on your phone and laptop, including ones that are not licensed in the UK and so are not covered by GAMSTOP.
- Tell someone. It sounds small. It is often the step that makes the others stick.
How do you know it is time? There is no single test, but these are the signs that come up again and again: chasing losses with a bigger deposit, playing with money meant for bills, hiding how much you play, feeling restless when you cannot play, or borrowing to keep going. One of them on its own is worth noticing. Two or more is worth acting on, and the help lines below exist exactly for that conversation.

Responsible Gambling FAQ
How do I set a deposit limit at Wild24?
In your account settings. Choose a daily, weekly or monthly amount. Lower limits apply straight away; higher ones only after a cooling-off period.
Can I cancel a time-out early?
No. A time-out runs for the full period you chose, from 24 hours up to six weeks. That is deliberate.
What is the minimum self-exclusion period?
Six months under UK rules. You can choose longer, and the account does not reopen by itself when it ends.
Does GAMSTOP cover Wild24?
Yes. GAMSTOP covers every online casino and betting site licensed in Great Britain, including Wild24.
Can I change my mind about self-exclusion?
Not until the period ends. That is what makes it work. When it does end, the account stays closed until you ask for it to be reopened, and you may be asked to wait a further cooling-off period.
Are reality checks the same as time limits?
No. A reality check is a reminder that shows how long you have been playing and your net result; you can carry on after it. A session limit actually ends play when the time is up.
Who can I talk to right now?
The National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare. It is free, confidential and open 24 hours a day.
